Required VMC setter cum operator

Key Responsibilities:

Interpreting Engineering Drawings:

VMC Setters must be able to read and understand technical drawings to determine the required machining operations and specifications.

Tooling Selection and Setup:

They choose the correct cutting tools, fixtures, and other equipment needed for the specific job and mount them on the machine.

Machine Setup and Calibration:

This involves setting up the machine parameters, such as speeds, feeds, and offsets, to ensure accurate and efficient machining.

Programming (G-code/M-code):

In some cases, VMC Setters may need to program the machine using G-code or M-code to control the cutting paths and other machine functions.

Monitoring and Adjustments:

They monitor the machining process, ensuring the machine is running correctly and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.

Quality Control:

VMC Setters conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet the required dimensional tolerances and specifications.
