Job Description
A VMC programmer's primary responsibilities include creating and optimizing CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) based on engineering drawings, setting up and operating the machines, and performing quality control. They also troubleshoot issues, perform machine maintenance, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure parts are made to specification and in an efficient, safe manner.
