GreenMech Automation is seeking an experienced

VMC Programmer

to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating

Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)

to produce high-precision components as per customer drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize

G-code and M-code programs

for VMC machines. Read and interpret engineering

drawings, blueprints, and CAD models

. Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces for machining operations. Perform first-piece inspection and ensure

quality control

throughout production. Troubleshoot and modify programs to improve efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with engineers and machinists to meet production deadlines.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum

2-5 years

in VMC programming & operation.

Software Knowledge:

Mastercam, or similar CAM software (preferred).

Skills:

Strong knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and GD&T. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
