Qualification:

ITI / Diploma / BE (Mechanical or relevant)

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, edit, and optimize

VMC programs

using

G-code / M-code

as per component drawings. Set up and operate

VMC machines

to produce precision components. Read and interpret

engineering drawings, GD&T, and process sheets

. Select appropriate

cutting tools, fixtures, and work offsets

. Perform

machine setup, tool setting, and job proving

for new components. Monitor machining processes to ensure

dimensional accuracy and surface finish

. Carry out

in-process inspection

using measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, and Height Gauge. Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or parameter corrections as required. Ensure adherence to

quality standards, safety norms, and 5S practices

. Maintain machine health through basic

preventive maintenance

. Coordinate with

Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams

for smooth operations. Maintain production records and daily output reports.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Hands-on experience in

VMC programming and operation

. Knowledge of

Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers

(as applicable). Strong understanding of

machining processes, tooling, and cutting parameters

. Ability to work independently and handle multiple jobs. Knowledge of

ISO standards and quality control practices

. Experience in

job shop / batch production

preferred.

Preferred Competencies:

Exposure to

CAM software

(Mastercam / SolidCAM / Fusion 360) - added advantage. Ability to reduce cycle time and improve productivity. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
