: VMC Programmer - Production

Key Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and verify

VMC programs

using CAM software / manual programming. Set tool parameters, offsets, and cutting conditions as per job requirement. Read and interpret

engineering drawings, 2D/3D models

, and specifications. Prepare

process sheets, tool lists

, and machining sequences. Conduct

trial runs

and first-piece approvals. Ensure optimal

cycle time

, tool life, and productivity. Troubleshoot machining issues (chatter, tool breakage, dimension variation). Perform

basic maintenance

of VMC machines and ensure 5S on shopfloor. Coordinate with QA to ensure

dimensional accuracy

and quality. Maintain proper

documentation

of daily production and program backups. Follow all

safety guidelines

and company procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field. Minimum

2-5 years

experience in VMC programming & machining. Strong knowledge of

G-code, M-code

, and CNC controls (Fanuc / Siemens / Haas). Ability to use

measuring instruments

- Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge. Experience with WORK NC

software

preferred. Good understanding of machining processes, speeds, and feeds.

Salary Range:

Based on experience and skill level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
