Job Description

Position - VMC Operator Programmer

Responsibilities:

Operate and program

Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)

as per production requirements. Prepare, load, and inspect

CNC programs (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls)

. Read and interpret

engineering drawings, CAD models, and process sheets

. Select and set up tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices as per the job. Perform

offsets, tool changes, and parameter adjustments

to maintain part quality. Conduct

first-piece inspection

and ensure dimensional accuracy of machined components. Maintain machine logs, tool life data, and production records. Perform

preventive maintenance and routine checks

on machines and tools. Work closely with the quality and design teams to resolve machining issues. Ensure

safety, housekeeping, and adherence to 5S standards

in the work area.

Key Skills:

Knowledge of

CNC/VMC machine operation and programming (G & M codes)

Experience with

CAM software (Mastercam / Delcam / Fusion 360)

preferred Ability to read and interpret

mechanical drawings and GD&T

Good understanding of

cutting tools, speeds & feeds, and machining parameters

Basic knowledge of

measurement instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM, etc.)

Strong

attention to detail

and commitment to quality

Qualification:

Diploma / ITI

in Mechanical, Production, or Tool & Die Making

VMC

Programming certification (preferred but not mandatory)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
