We are looking for a skilled

VMC Programmer

with hands-on experience in

Delcam software

for precision machining operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of CNC/VMC programming, tooling, and machining processes, with the ability to deliver high-quality and accurate components as per design requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and optimize

VMC programs using Delcam software

for various machining operations. Interpret and analyze

engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications

to develop efficient machining strategies. Set up and operate

Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)

as required to verify and validate programs. Select appropriate

tools, cutters, and machining parameters

for different materials and operations. Ensure

first-piece approval

, quality control, and adherence to dimensional tolerances. Collaborate with production and quality teams to achieve machining accuracy and efficiency. Troubleshoot programming or machining issues and implement effective corrective measures. Maintain proper documentation and records of programs, setups, and process parameters. Follow all

safety standards and company policies

during machining operations.

Key Skills Required:

Strong proficiency in

Delcam

software. In-depth knowledge of

G-code, M-code, and CNC/VMC operations

. Ability to handle

complex 3D component programming and tool path generation

. Familiarity with different materials (Steel, Aluminum, Alloys, etc.). Good understanding of

fixtures, jigs, cutting tools

, and machine parameters. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualification:

Diploma / ITI / BE / BTech

in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
