PowerMill software
and preferably from an
SPM (Special Purpose Machine)
manufacturing background.
Key Responsibilities:
Create efficient and accurate programs for VMC machines using
Autodesk PowerMill
Set up and operate VMC machines to ensure high-precision output
Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models
Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for optimal machining
Collaborate with design and production teams to improve machining processes
Conduct trial runs, inspect output, and make necessary adjustments
Ensure timely production with minimal downtime and quality rejections
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of
VMC machine operations and tooling
Expertise in
PowerMill CAM software
(mandatory)
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Familiarity with machining tolerances and GD&T
Good knowledge of CNC controls and machine codes
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Experience with
SPM components
will be a significant advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI / Engineering in Mechanical or relevant field
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in VMC programming and operations
Prior experience in an
SPM manufacturing environment
is highly desirable
