Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VMC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating both 3-axis and 5-axis Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs), with a strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints. This role involves ensuring the efficient and accurate production of metal parts while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :

• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor VMC machines to produce metal parts that meet precise specifications.
• Material Handling: Efficiently load and unload materials onto and from the machines, ensuring proper handling and setup.
• Setup & Adjustment: Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment as necessary to maintain smooth production processes.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed to meet quality standards.
• Process Management: Ensure the production process runs smoothly, promptly addressing any issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Compliance: Follow established safety and quality standards to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality output.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a VMC Operator 3axis & 5axis.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
• Ability to operate and program VMC machines
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Basic computer skills
• Diploma/ITI with 2-3 years' experience is preferred

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in VMC Operation: Demonstrated expertise in operating both 3-axis and 5-axis VMC machines.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to accurately interpret engineering blueprints for effective machine setup and operation.
• CNC Programming: Experience with manual CNC programming and a solid understanding of machining techniques.
• Machining Techniques: Good grasp of various machining techniques to ensure efficient and accurate production processes.
