Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

VMC Operator

to operate and maintain Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines. The candidate will be responsible for producing precision components as per drawings, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate VMC machines as per job requirements Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Load and unload tools, fixtures, and components Perform tool offsets, job setting, and basic program edits if required Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments Measure components using instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc. Ensure components meet quality and tolerance standards Maintain proper documentation of production and inspection records Carry out routine machine maintenance and housekeeping Follow safety norms, 5S, and company policies Coordinate with supervisors and quality team for issue resolution

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade

Experience

1 to 5 years of experience as a VMC Operator Experience in job work / production environment preferred

Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of VMC machines (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi - preferred) Understanding of cutting tools, tooling selection, and machining processes Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code) is an advantage Good understanding of quality control and inspection methods Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
