Role Summary Set up and operate Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Set up VMC machines, including installing tools, loading programs, and securing workpieces/fixtures. Operate the machine and monitor cycles to detect malfunctions or deviations. Perform routine quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers). Must-Haves Proven experience operating VMC/CNC machines. Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code programming. Strong understanding of tooling and fixture requirements.
