GreenMech Automation is seeking an experienced

VMC Operator

to join our precision machining team in Coimbatore. The candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up

Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)

to manufacture high-accuracy components as per engineering drawings and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up

VMC machines

for daily production. Load and unload components, fixtures, and tools. Interpret and follow

engineering drawings and technical specifications

. Inspect first-piece and in-process parts using measuring instruments (

vernier, micrometer, height gauge, etc.

) to ensure quality. Maintain required tolerances and surface finish. Monitor machine performance and report issues to supervisors. Follow

safety standards

and keep the work area clean.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum

2-5 years

in VMC operation. Ability to read and understand

mechanical drawings & GD&T

. Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds. Basic troubleshooting skills. Team player with a strong focus on quality.
