Job Description

Key Responsibilities

:

Machine Setup

: Set up VMC machines as per job requirements, including fixture setup, tool loading, and zero referencing. Verify program codes and make minor offset adjustments if needed.

Tool Selection & Setting

: Choose appropriate tools as per the drawing and job card. Set tool lengths and diameters accurately using measuring instruments.

Job Preparation

: Load raw material on the machine, align workpieces, and clamp securely. Conduct first piece inspection and ensure dimension accuracy before handing over to operator.

Drawing & Program Understanding

: Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and machining symbols. Understand CNC programs and provide feedback if edits or corrections are needed.

Quality Assurance

: Check machined components for dimensions, surface finish, and tolerance. Ensure 100% quality in first setup and assist quality team in inspections.

Troubleshooting

: Identify machining problems and make necessary corrections during setup. Report issues related to machine or tooling to the maintenance team.

Collaboration

: Coordinate with CNC programmers, supervisors, and quality inspectors. Train and guide machine operators during shift handovers.

Maintenance Support

: Perform daily checks (coolant, lubrication, air pressure). Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S practices.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
