GreenMech Automation is hiring a

VMC Operator & Programmer

to join our precision machining team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating, setting up, and programming

Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)

to manufacture high-precision components as per customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Programming & Operation:

Write and modify

G-code & M-code

programs for VMC machines.

Machine Setup:

Load workpieces, set tools, and adjust machine parameters.

Blueprint Reading:

Interpret engineering

drawings, GD&T symbols, and CAD models

.

Quality Control:

Inspect first-piece and in-process components using measuring instruments.

Troubleshooting:

Adjust programs and machine settings to improve efficiency.

Maintenance:

Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure smooth operation.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum

2-5 years

in VMC operation & programming.

Software Knowledge:

Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar CAM software (preferred).

Skills:

Strong understanding of machining parameters, cutting tools, and quality standards. Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
