Job Responsibilities:

As a VMC (

Vertical Machining Center

) Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machines that produce precision metal parts used in manufacturing processes.

You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating the VMC machines, as well as maintaining quality standards and ensuring that production schedules are met.

You will be responsible for translating engineering drawings into machine programs, setting up tooling and fixtures, and ensuring the efficient operation of the VMC to meet production requirements.

Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee function ability.

Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.
