Core responsibilities

Machine setup:

Configure and calibrate VMC machines by loading correct tools, fixtures, and materials according to job specifications.

Program verification:

Verify CNC programs for accuracy by checking tool paths, speeds, and feeds.

Quality control:

Monitor the machining process, conduct quality checks on finished parts, and make adjustments to ensure products meet specifications.

Maintenance and troubleshooting:

Perform routine maintenance on the machines, replace worn tools, and troubleshoot any mechanical or operational issues.

Documentation:

Keep records of machine settings, tool changes, and production data.

Safety and efficiency:

Adhere to safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with team members to optimize processes.
Required skills and qualifications

Experience in a similar role (e.g., CNC or VMC operator). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of machine operating and programming, including controllers like Fanuc. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) is often a plus. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Good problem-solving skills
