Job Description

The VMC Operator is responsible for operating Vertical Machining Centers to manufacture precision metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves machine setup, tool selection, part inspection, and basic maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate VMC machines to produce parts as per drawings and job orders Set up tools, workpieces, and fixtures on the machine Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency Measure and inspect finished components using measuring instruments (e.g., vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge) Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines Report deviations or non-conformities to the supervisor Maintain production logs and records Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working area

Requirements:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field Minimum 2-3 years of experience in VMC machine operation Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
