Operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce high-precision aerospace components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files accurately.
Set up machines, select tools, and adjust parameters for optimal production.
Monitor machining processes, ensuring tolerances and surface finish meet quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of VMC machines.
Maintain production records and report any discrepancies or defects.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and aerospace industry regulations.
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC operations, programming, and setup.
Familiarity with aerospace-grade materials (aluminum, titanium, composites).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
Knowledge of quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) is a plus.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
