Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate VMC machines to perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, and tapping
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Load and unload raw materials and finished components
Select, install, and adjust cutting tools and fixtures
Measure and inspect components using precision measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy
Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine maintenance
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards
Maintain accurate production and inspection records
Collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to resolve machining issues
