Job Summary:

The VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC VMC machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves maintaining part quality, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring efficient machine utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate VMC machines as per job instructions and part drawings Load/unload tools and raw material, and verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments Perform basic G-code edits or offsets adjustments if needed Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure part accuracy Maintain proper documentation of work and inspection reports Report any machine or tool issues to the supervisor immediately Follow all safety and housekeeping standards in the machining area

Skills & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant trade 1-3 years of experience operating CNC VMC machines Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Basic understanding of CNC programming and offsets Familiarity with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls (as per machine) Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
