Overview

We are seeking a skilled Setter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with precision measuring instruments. As a Setter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise in handling various tools and equipment will contribute significantly to our manufacturing operations.

Duties

Set up and adjust machinery according to specifications to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control. Operate stamping presses and other equipment as required for production tasks. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement CAD designs and SolidWorks models into the production process. Conduct materials handling tasks, ensuring proper storage and organization of components. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs as needed. Maintain accurate records of production activities and equipment settings.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with Manual programming in VMC milling machines Experience with hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments is essential. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
