We're looking for a skilled and experienced

VMC Operator cum Programmer

to join our team in the

automobile industry

at the Industrial Area Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both operating and programming Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to produce high-quality automotive components.

Key Responsibilities

VMC Programming

: Develop and optimize CNC programs (using

G-code

and

M-code

) for VMC machines based on engineering blueprints and technical drawings.

Machine Operation

: Set up, operate, and maintain VMC machines to ensure precision and quality in the manufacturing process. This includes loading/unloading materials, adjusting machine settings, and monitoring operations.

Tooling & Setup

: Select, inspect, and install the correct cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices.

Quality Control

: Perform quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.

Troubleshooting

: Diagnose and resolve issues with machines, programs, or production processes to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.

Maintenance

: Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of VMC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Collaboration

: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to optimize processes and meet production targets.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience

: A minimum of

4 years of hands-on experience

as a VMC Operator cum Programmer in the automobile or precision engineering industry.

Technical Proficiency

: Strong knowledge of CNC programming using

G-code

and

M-code

. Proficiency with

CAD/CAM software

(e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM). Expertise in setting up and operating VMC machines. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.

Educational Background

: A diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or a related field is preferred.

: Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Adherence to safety protocols and a clean work environment.
