Job Description

Role: VMC Operator (Plastic Manufacturing)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Operate and set up Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for mold, die, and plastic component manufacturing. Interpret engineering drawings, CAD/CAM data, and process sheets for machining operations. Select and install appropriate tools, cutters, and fixtures. Monitor machine operations, maintain accuracy, and ensure quality standards. Perform basic programming/editing of CNC codes if required. Conduct regular machine maintenance and ensure proper housekeeping. Coordinate with production and toolroom teams for smooth workflow. Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM, etc.).

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die Making. CNC / VMC operating certification (preferred).

Experience:

2-5 years

of experience as a VMC Operator, preferably in

plastic mold/toolroom or plastic product manufacturing industry

. Knowledge of mold components, tool steel machining, and CNC programming will be an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
