with experience in 2D & 3D component manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining VMC machines to produce precision parts and components as per technical drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate VMC machines (2D & 3D) to manufacture precision components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD/CAM programs, and job orders.
Load raw material, set tools, and adjust machine parameters as required.
Perform program editing and offsets to achieve dimensional accuracy.
Monitor machining processes and ensure components are produced within tolerance.
Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Report production status, issues, or deviations to the supervisor.
Work collaboratively with the programming and quality team to optimize machining processes.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of
VMC machine operations
in 2D & 3D machining.
Ability to read and interpret
engineering drawings & GD&T
.
Hands-on experience in tool setting, offsets, and minor program editing.
Familiarity with
CNC programming software (Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi or equivalent)
is an added advantage.
Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and machining cycles.
Basic understanding of
quality control and inspection methods

Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn advanced machining techniques.
Qualification & Experience:
Qualification:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field.
Experience:
2-5 years of relevant experience in VMC operations (2D/3D manufacturing).
Freshers with CNC/VMC training certification may also be considered.
