ROLES:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, job sheets, and process specifications.
Select and install appropriate tools, cutters, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
Set work offsets, tool offsets, and coordinate systems (e.g., G54-G59).
Adjust feeds, speeds, coolant, and depth of cut as required.
Change tools manually or monitor automatic tool change operations.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly machine maintenance checks.
Monitor production output and ensure targets are met.
Reduce downtime by optimizing setups and tool changes.
