Job Responsibilities

Operate Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines as per job order. Set workpiece, tools, and ensure correct fixture/clamping. Run production cycles and monitor machining process. Check components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.). Ensure parts meet drawing and quality standards. Maintain cycle time, productivity, and minimize rejections. Perform daily machine cleaning and basic maintenance. Follow all safety and quality guidelines. Maintain production records and report issues to supervisor.

Requirements

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant trade. 2-4 years of experience in VMC machine operation. Knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi). Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments. Willingness to work in shifts.
