Job Summary

The VMC Setter & Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce precision components as per engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Setup & Operation

Set up VMC machines including tooling, fixtures, and workpieces Load and modify CNC programs as per job requirements Perform tool offsets, work offsets, and program proving Operate VMC machines to produce components within tolerance
Quality & Inspection

Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges Ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation
Production & Process Control

Monitor machining operations to ensure consistent output Optimize cutting parameters to improve cycle time and tool life Identify and troubleshoot machining issues Maintain production targets and minimize machine downtime
Maintenance & Safety

Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning Report machine breakdowns or abnormal conditions Follow safety rules and use PPE at all times Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
