Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

VMC Operator

to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Vertical Machining Center machines to produce high-quality precision parts as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor VMC machines to ensure efficient production. Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces accurately as per job requirements. Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models. Select and load the correct machine programs and make necessary offsets and adjustments. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Perform routine maintenance of machines and ensure a clean and safe working environment. Record production data and maintain logs. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with tolerance and quality standards. Troubleshoot issues related to machine operation or part quality.

Requirements:

Education:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years of experience operating VMC machines in a manufacturing setup. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using measuring instruments. Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code. Familiarity with CNC control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.). Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with tool life management and cutting parameter optimization. Understanding of fixture design and part clamping techniques.

Pay: ?13,355.55 - ?20,000.00 per month
