Job Description

Position: VMC Machine Operator

Location: Manpada, Near R-Mall, Thane

Gender Preference: Male

Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering

Experience: 3-4 Years

Job Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) as per production requirements.

2. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and tooling instructions accurately.

3. Perform basic 2D programming and job setup on VMC machines.

4. Conduct in-process inspection of parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges).

5. Ensure the quality, accuracy, and finish of machined components as per specifications.

6. Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues promptly.

7. Operate Mastercam software for job setup and posting.

8. Maintain daily production records and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Skills & Competencies:

1. Sound understanding of engineering drawings and machining processes.

2. Hands-on experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software.

3. Knowledge of tool selection, feeds, and speeds for different materials.

4. Attention to detail and commitment to precision machining.

5. Ability to troubleshoot minor machine and programming issues independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
