Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day shift operations in VMC / HMC / VTL machining section. Set up and program CNC machines (VMC, HMC, VTL) as per job requirements. Allocate work to operators and monitor performance to meet production targets. Ensure first-piece approval and maintain process quality throughout the shift. Troubleshoot machine or process issues to minimize downtime. Verify adherence to work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. Coordinate with quality team for inspections and corrective actions. Maintain shift reports - production, rejections, downtime, tool usage. Train and guide operators on machine handling and process improvements. Ensure workplace safety and 5S practices.

Requirements

Qualification: ITI / Diploma / BE (Mechanical / Production). Experience: 5 to 10 years in CNC machining, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory/shift incharge role. Strong knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls). Hands-on expertise in tooling, offsets, and machine setting. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Leadership, problem-solving, and team-handling skills.
