Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced VMC & CNC Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance and service team. This role is suitable for professionals with 8+ years of hands-on experience in CNC, VMC, HMC, Turnmill, and conventional machine maintenance, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. The position involves ensuring maximum machine uptime, handling breakdown and preventive maintenance, machine commissioning, accuracy improvement, and providing technical support to production and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, commissioning, and re-installation of CNC & VMC machines Perform breakdown, preventive, and planned maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, VTL, Turnmill, SPM, and conventional machines Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and minor electrical issues Set and modify machine parameters (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Hurco) Diagnose and resolve accuracy and geometry-related issues Replacement and alignment of LM guideways, ball screws, bearings, and axis components Hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance (cylinders, valves, pumps) Machine reconditioning, overhauling, and ATC upgradation projects Support programming-related issues in coordination with application teams Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions Maintain PM schedules, breakdown records, MTTR, MTBF, MIS, KPI, and machine history cards Maintain critical spare parts list and generate spares/ASC enquiries Provide technical guidance and training to operators and customers post commissioning Participate in ISO audits and maintain statutory and calibration records Coordinate with production, quality, and project teams for smooth operations

Education:

Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of CNC & VMC maintenance and troubleshooting

Experience with CNC controllers: Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Hurco

Good understanding of machine geometry setting and accuracy improvement

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic PLC concepts

Experience in machine commissioning, shifting, and reconditioning

Familiarity with SAP (PM module preferred)

Exposure to compressors, cranes (OHC & Jib), and utility maintenance

Experience:

Minimum 6-10 years of experience in CNC & VMC Maintenance

Experience in industries such as machine tools, heavy engineering, automotive, or precision manufacturing preferred
