Main Purpose

• Design, build, implement, and maintain business intelligence solutions providing data-driven and action-oriented insights to the business for efficient and effective decision-making

• Design and develop compelling and user-centric BI / data visualization solutions (e.g., dashboards and reports) to convey actionable insights and enable proactive decision-making by the business
• Maintain performance of BI solutions, debug or enhance existing BI products, and conduct quality assurance on dashboards for accuracy and functionality
• Identify opportunities to apply data visualization solutions to solve complex business problems
• Partner with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to define data needs and requirements
• Ensure established visualization / BI standards and security protocols are followed
• Develop training materials and deliver training to end-users, encouraging digital adoption
• Provide thought leadership and promote data visualization best practices
• Make recommendations for BI tools based on latest trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications/Requirements

• 7-9 years overall experience; 3+ years with data visualization tools or business intelligence development
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
• Strong quantitative background in data analysis and modeling to drive actionable insights
• Ability to present analytic results to technical and non-technical audiences through various visualization methods
• Experience with coding languages (e.g., Java, R, Python) and querying languages (e.g., SQL)

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects and report simultaneously across different stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
