Role Overview

We are looking for talented and creative Visual / Video Editors who can bring stories to life through compelling visuals, engaging edits, and impactful storytelling. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of timing, rhythm, and an eye for visual aesthetics that align with Galatta's brand voice and audience preferences.

Key Responsibilities

Edit videos for YouTube, social media, and OTT platforms -- including interviews, promo clips, short-form content, and special features.

Work closely with producers, directors, and creative teams to deliver high-quality edits on time.

Add motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.

Color correct, mix audio, and ensure all output meets brand and platform standards.

Manage media files, project organization, and version control efficiently.

Stay up-to-date with the latest editing trends, tools, and techniques in digital media.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in video editing.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing tools.

Basic knowledge of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.

Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and time management skills.

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Passion for entertainment, pop culture, and digital storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with digital media, entertainment, or film-based content.

Familiarity with social media video formats (YouTube, Instagram, Shorts, Reels).

Knowledge of Tamil and/or other South Indian languages is a plus.
