To create visually appealing product displays and in-store layouts that enhance customer experience, reflect the brand's aesthetic, and boost product visibility and sales in furniture and modular interior showrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Showroom Display Planning & Execution
Design and implement creative visual displays, room settings, and mock-ups to highlight furniture, kitchen, wardrobe, and modular solutions.
Create story-based layouts that show product usage in realistic home settings.
Regularly update displays based on season, promotions, stock availability, and trends.
2. Brand Representation & Consistency
Maintain brand guidelines in all visual elements across showrooms.
Ensure signage, props, color schemes, lighting, and ambiance align with the brand's personality.
Maintain uniformity in VM execution across all locations, if applicable.
3. Customer Experience & Product Flow
Strategically plan product placement to guide customer flow and maximize interaction with key products.
Work closely with sales teams to understand customer preferences and adjust displays accordingly.
4. Planning & Coordination
Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and marketing teams to conceptualize VM strategies.
Coordinate with carpenters, painters, lighting technicians, and other support staff for display setups.
Plan floor moves, window installations, and in-store visuals ahead of product launches or campaigns.
5. Inventory & Prop Management
Manage inventory of display props, decor items, and display materials.
Ensure timely procurement or reuse of styling accessories like cushions, vases, rugs, frames, etc.
6. Visual Merchandising Audits
Conduct regular VM audits to ensure compliance with VM standards.
Capture before-after photos and maintain records of layouts, themes, and performance feedback.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong aesthetic sense and spatial awareness.
Knowledge of interior styling and color theory.
Proficiency in design tools (Photoshop, SketchUp, AutoCAD or similar preferred).
Creativity, attention to detail, and adaptability to trends.
Excellent coordination and time management skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple showrooms (if needed).
Qualifications:
Graduate/Diploma in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fashion Communication, or related field.
0-5 years of experience in retail furniture/interiors/modular industry VM preferred.
Working Conditions:
Requires physical setup of displays and showroom elements.
May involve travel to multiple showrooms/outlets.
Work during weekends/festive seasons during major sales campaigns.
Immediate joiners preferred.
Work Location- Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
