Visual Merchandiser

As a Visual Merchandiser for a furniture and decor showroom, you'll be responsible for creating visually appealing displays and layouts that enhance the aesthetic appeal of the showroom, attract customers, and ultimately boost sales, while ensuring displays reflect the brand's image and style.

Location: Aminjikarai & Akkarai ECR

Deliverables

Designing and executing merchandise display themes and maintaining visual merchandising standards across showrooms and incorporating festive displays whenever required. Train and direct showroom staff in VM practices and display methods. Interact with showroom manager and develop local VM planning at store level based on feedback. Interact and upsell/cross-sell to customers whenever possible at the showrooms. Visit and provide professional home styling advice to customers as part of home stylist service. Actively take part in campaign planning and assist in product strategy in the short term.

Skills

Proven work experience as VM in furniture retail/Garments Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio Solid retail merchandising portfolio with team handling ability. Working knowledge in requisite tools including Revit, Sketchup, etc. Solid experience in field visual merchandising including displays and space utilization Ability to quickly adapt and improvise showroom display with changing requirements. Adept at multi-tasking and customer handling Willingness to travel whenever necessary Proficient in English with ability to converse in both Tamil and Hindi preferred
