Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute
attractive and sales-focused product displays
across categories and departments
Implement
seasonal, festival, and campaign-based themes
(e.g., Onam, Ramadan, Anniversary Sale)
Develop
planograms
and ensure proper category flow and signage alignment
Manage
display zoning
: warehouse stock, inventory zone, and customer display zone
Regularly
audit shelf-level branding
, LED rate boards, danglers, shelf talkers, and endcap signage
Coordinate with the
purchase and marketing teams
for product priorities and new arrivals
Work with promoters and vendors for
sample displays and secondary placements
Ensure
price board maintenance
, correct MRP display, and product visibility in all aisles
Monitor
space utilization, customer flow, and aisle aesthetics
to optimize experience
Manage
window display and entry point branding
for better walk-in attraction
Supervise
daily and weekly merchandising maintenance
with support staff
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in
retail/supermarket visual merchandising
Understanding of
consumer behaviour, FMCG product movement
, and
category management
Familiar with planogram tools and basic design software (Canva/CorelDraw/Photoshop - preferred)
Strong creative sense with an ability to balance
brand visibility and sales targets
Excellent coordination skills to work with purchase, marketing, and floor staff
High attention to detail and strong time management skills
Knowledge of regional/festival themes for
localised customer connection
