Job Summary:

The Fashion Merchandiser - Product Display & Visual Merchandising is responsible for showcasing new product samples, highlighting their key features and USP, and training sales executives to present the products effectively to customers. The role also involves managing in-office visual displays and supporting sales staff with product-related information during customer interactions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Product Understanding & Training

Study every new sample piece received in the office and identify its

USP (Unique Selling Points)

-- such as design detailing, fabric, embroidery, and comfort. Prepare and communicate

product highlights

to the sales team before display or customer presentation. Conduct short

training sessions

for sales executives on product features, fabric types, and styling options.

2. Visual Merchandising (Office Display Management)

Manage and maintain in-office

sample displays

for new collections. Arrange garments by theme, color, and design category for attractive presentation. Ensure the

display area reflects brand aesthetics

and is updated regularly. Coordinate with the design and production teams to replace outdated samples with fresh pieces.

3. Sales Floor Support

Be available on the sales floor to

assist sales executives during customer interactions

. Help in explaining product detailing, quality, fabric type, and price justification to customers when required. Collect customer feedback and share with the design or merchandising team for future improvements.

4. Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with production and merchandising teams for product information updates. Maintain records of displayed samples, sold pieces, and returned items. Share weekly visual display updates and training reports with the Sales Head or Management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of fabrics, embroidery, and ethnic wear product details. Excellent product presentation and communication skills. Creative sense of color coordination and display arrangement. Ability to train and motivate sales staff effectively. Basic computer knowledge (Excel / Google Sheets / WhatsApp coordination).

Qualification & Experience:

Graduate/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Fashion Merchandising, or Textile Design. 1-3 years of experience in fashion merchandising, visual merchandising, or product display coordination. Experience in women's ethnic wear (Kurti / 3-piece sets) preferred.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
