Visual Inspection Operator - Ophthalmology Medical Devices

Department: Production / Quality Control

Location: New Delhi, Okhla Phase-1

Experience:- Fresher to 2 Years (Medical Device / Optical / Electronics background preferred)

Qualification

Diploma M.Sc / Micro/ Biotech / ITI / B.Sc / 12th Pass (Science preferred) Basic knowledge of cleanroom practices is an advantage
Job Responsibilities

Perform

100% visual inspection

of ophthalmic medical devices (e.g., IOLs, cartridges, injectors, surgical disposables) as per approved SOPs Inspect products under

microscope / magnifier / inspection lamp

for defects such as scratches, particles, black spots, bubbles, deformities, or contamination Ensure compliance with

ISO 13485, GMP, and CDSCO

quality requirements Segregate

accepted, rejected, and rework

products correctly Maintain inspection records, batch records, and logbooks accurately Follow

cleanroom discipline

, gowning procedures, and hygiene standards Report quality issues, deviations, or abnormalities to the Supervisor / QA team Support in audits and documentation when required Handle products carefully to avoid damage or contamination
Key Skills & Competencies

Good

eye-hand coordination

and attention to detail Ability to work for long hours under

microscope or visual inspection setup

Basic understanding of

defects and quality standards

Discipline in following SOPs and instructions Ability to work in

cleanroom environment

Basic documentation and record-keeping skills
Working Conditions

Cleanroom environment Shift duty may be applicable High precision and concentration-based work
Preferred Industry Experience

Ophthalmology medical devices Medical disposables / implants Electronics or precision manufacturing Pharma / Healthcare manufacturing
Salary : As per industry standards and experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
