Job description Modelyze Labs AI is using Artificial Intelligence to build and label three dimensional models to make their analysis clear, concise, and accurate.

The Role
Modelyze Labs has an immediate need for a Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) professional with an Architectural background, expertise in detailing software (Revit and AutoCAD), Navisworks model management platform, and Project Schedule analysis. Your mission for this role is to organize 3D design models with detailed tracking sets and map this organization back to schedule tasks for project schedule tracking efforts. Model zoning and data mapping will be completed utilizing the many Navisworks tools and utilities built by our in-house engineering team. The secondary role is to work with the Modelyze Labs Product and Engineering groups to develop utilities for improving model organization efficiencies and tracking tools.

As a VDCData Engineer at Modelyze Labs, you will have a clear understanding of the Project Schedules and Design Models used for the Modelyze Labs analytics engine. This includes familiarization with design detailing software and scheduling platforms used in the construction industry. You will maintain constant communication with the Modelyze Labs BIM Manager, Product Manager, and other Modelyze Labs Team members. You will support all aspects of the Modelyze Labs data pipeline and achieve high levels of accuracy in data organization.

Responsibilities
? 3DModelData Organization using Navisworks software is the primary responsibility for a VDCDataEngineer, which involves organizing models into highly detailed search sets based on proprietary tracking methods. Data mapping from model meta data will also be completed using Modelyze Labs plugin utilities.
? Floorplan Importing- Utilize AutoCAD to import and process project floor plan drawings for use in internal web-based dashboards.
? Zoning- Create 3D zoning models to match project zone plans using AutoCAD and Navisworks 3D plugin utilities.
? Model DataVerification- Verify organized data in prepared models imports correctly into internal databases and validate model visuals using internal visualization tools.

? Communication- Conduct ongoing communication throughout the workday with project team members. Modelyze Labs utilizes various tools for communication with Slack as the primary messaging platform. Jira tickets and tracking are also highly used. Direct Phone Calls and Conference Calls (Zoom as an option) may also be used.

? Training- Strive to continuously develop your skills in core applications used for model organization and data analysis.

? Sales Support- Work with the Modelyze Labs's sales team to perform model takeoff and complexity analysis.

Required Qualifications

? BSorforeign equivalent in an Architectural or Construction Digital Design Technology (or) 3-4 years of experience in managing VDC detailing work from Pre-construction through Construction phases of commercial construction

? Proficiency in Navisworks coordination and management, with a strong focus on search set creation

? Experience working on data center, hospital, or biopharmaceutical projects

? Proficiency in BIM Design and Analysis tools like Revit and AutoCAD

? Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Drive (Sheets)

? Excellent collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively

? Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills. Able to focus on completing primary objectives and any secondary objectives while remaining flexible and able to use good judgment to respond to changing field conditions. Able to safely lift and carry up to 40lbs of equipment throughout the workday.

? Mustbefluent in English Additional Preferred Qualifications

? Familiarity with Slack or similar team communication and productivity platforms

? Familiarity with Jira or similar team issue & project tracking platforms
