Develop and optimize
image-processing algorithms
for defect detection, measurement, and pattern recognition.
Integrate vision systems with
PLC, HMI, SCADA, and robotic systems
for real-time feedback and control.
Collaborate with automation and maintenance teams to retrofit vision systems into existing production lines.
Quality & Process Control
Develop and maintain
inspection criteria
and acceptance standards for visual control systems.
Conduct
root cause analysis
and corrective actions for visual quality issues.
Monitor system performance and accuracy through periodic calibration and testing.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends and recurring defects through data analysis.
Ensure compliance with
ISO, lean manufacturing, and internal quality standards
.
Maintenance & Support
Troubleshoot and repair vision systems and related automation hardware/software.
Maintain all system documentation, camera setups, and inspection program backups.
Provide technical training to operators, engineers, and quality staff on visual inspection systems.
Collaborate with suppliers and integrators to implement upgrades or new vision solutions.
