Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements (BADIs, user exits), forms (Smartforms, Adobe Forms), and workflows within the Vistex module. Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes related to Vistex (e.g., rebates, chargebacks, incentives, commissions), and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and maintain interfaces between Vistex and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO) and external systems using various integration technologies (e.g., BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs, Web Services). Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and provide effective solutions for issues encountered in Vistex functionalities and custom developments. Optimize the performance of existing and new ABAP programs and Vistex configurations to ensure efficient system operation. Conduct thorough unit testing, support integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT). Adhere to SAP development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance procedures. Provide technical guidance and support to junior ABAP developers on Vistex-related developments. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions. Stay updated with the latest Vistex functionalities, SAP ABAP technologies, and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with a strong focus on the Vistex module. Leading experience is required In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Vistex components such as:

Pricing and Promotions:

IP (Incentive Processing), POP (Payback & Order Processing), DMP (Data Maintenance Pricing), and Claims.

Rebates and Chargebacks:

Calculation, settlement, accruals, and adjustments.

Commissions and Incentives:

Rule-based calculation and payout processing. Strong proficiency in core ABAP programming concepts, including ABAP Objects, ALV reporting, BDCs, Call Transactions, User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots, and BAPIs. Experience with developing and modifying Smartforms/Adobe Forms for Vistex-related outputs. Familiarity with SAP data dictionary objects (tables, views, data elements, domains). Experience with integration technologies like IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services for interfacing with internal and external systems. Strong debugging skills and ability to analyze complex SAP standard and custom code. Solid understanding of SAP SD and MM modules' integration with Vistex. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with functional consultants and business users.
