About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Cybersecurity professionals to join as Visiting Faculty at Patkar Varde College, Mumbai. This role is ideal for experts who want to contribute to academia and mentor the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. The focus is on blending practical industry knowledge with academic delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach cybersecurity subjects such as:
Network Security
Ethical Hacking
Risk Management & Compliance
Cyber Laws & Digital Forensics
Cloud Security & Zero Trust Architecture
Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on workshops using real-world case studies and tools.
Structure content with a clear flow: from fundamentals to advanced concepts.
Evaluate student performance and guide them on project work or simulations.
Help align course content with current industry standards and certifications.
Ideal Candidate:
3-10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles.
Practical expertise with tools like Wireshark, Kali Linux, Metasploit, etc.
Comfortable teaching and simplifying complex technical concepts.
Strong communication skills and passion for mentoring students.
Teaching experience is a bonus but not mandatory.
Commitment:
6-8 hours/week, on-campus at Patkar College, Mumbai.
Flexible schedule; can be adjusted to suit working professionals.
