About the Role:
SDBI (School of Data and Business Intelligence) is inviting applications for the position of
Visiting Faculty - Advanced Excel & Analytics
at our Mumbai campus. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about
data-driven decision-making
and can train students to leverage Excel as a powerful analytical tool.
The role focuses on imparting
hands-on learning
, practical problem-solving, and introducing students to analytical thinking using Excel-based tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver
interactive lectures and lab sessions
on Advanced Excel and Analytics.
Cover topics such as:
Data cleaning and transformation
Advanced formulas and functions
Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Power Pivot
Data visualization and dashboards
What-if analysis, Solver, and scenario planning
Excel-based business analytics and automation using VBA (optional)
Design and assess
assignments, projects, and case studies
to reinforce learning.
Incorporate
industry use cases
for business decision-making using Excel.
Guide students in applying Excel analytics for
real-world data problems
.
Keep course content aligned with
industry trends and analytical best practices
.
Ideal Candidate:
3-10+ years of experience
in analytics, reporting, or business intelligence roles.
Strong expertise in
Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
-- including formulas, data modeling, and visualization.
Familiarity with
Power Query, Power Pivot, and VBA
preferred.
Ability to explain analytical concepts in a clear, structured, and engaging manner.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Prior teaching, training, or corporate workshop experience is a plus.
