Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement
vision inspection systems
for automated production and quality control.
Perform
CCD camera calibration
, lens selection, lighting setup, and system alignment.
Configure and program
machine vision software
(Cognex, Keyence, or similar).
Collaborate with automation and process engineers to integrate vision systems with robots, PLCs, and other manufacturing equipment.
Conduct trials, testing, and fine-tuning for accuracy and repeatability of vision inspection.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to
image processing, lighting, optics
, and hardware configuration.
Maintain documentation of system configurations, calibration data, and inspection parameters.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide training to operators/technicians.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in
Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field
