We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Vision Robotics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing cutting-edge vision systems and robotics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision, robotics, and machine learning, with a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology in automation and robotics.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for robotic perception, object detection, tracking, and recognition.
Integrate vision systems with robotic platforms to enable autonomous navigation, manipulation, and decision-making.
Develop machine learning models for tasks such as object classification, pose estimation, and scene understanding.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design solutions that meet project goals and objectives.
Conduct research and experimentation to evaluate the performance of vision algorithms and robotic systems in real-world environments.
Optimize algorithms for real-time performance and efficiency on embedded hardware platforms.
Develop software tools and frameworks for data collection, annotation, and analysis to support vision and robotics research and development.
Stay current with the latest advancements in computer vision, robotics, and artificial intelligence research and technologies.
Contribute to patent filings, technical documentation, and research publications.

Requirements:
Exposure to Machine Vision, industrial / factory automation applications, Familiarity to PLC Understanding the customer requirements and visit customer site to prove the applications .Experience with vision systems from reputed brands like Omron ,cognex, keyence,Basler etc
Some experience in Robot vision like OMRON ,Fanuc, ABB, Kuka etc is an added advantage
Some PLC Programming experience using OMRON, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc
Expertise in their vision tools and programming
Knowledge about lighting for machine vision and light effects
Camera selection, camera adjustments, Lens selection
Knowledge and experience in proving various vision applications
Vision applications for robotics applications
Good documentation, presentation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle challenging customer situations
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and industrial automation systems.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment
Ability to travel up to 35 to 40% of the time, occasionally on short notice through out Tamil Nadu /Bangalore
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
Previous experience working in interdisciplinary teams on robotics projects involving mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines.
Additional Skills:
Familiarity with various PLC platforms and programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).
Knowledge of industrial automation systems and processes.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on precision in programming.
