Job Overview:

The Study Visa Counsellor will guide students through the complete

Canada study visa process

, from counselling and admissions to visa filing. This includes course/college selection, documentation, IELTS/PTE guidance, financial proof preparation, and ensuring smooth visa filing with a focus on high success rates.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide counselling to students on study opportunities in Canada, including program and college selection. Evaluate academic background,

IELTS/PTE scores

, and financial eligibility to recommend suitable options. Explain

minimum IELTS/PTE requirements

for Canadian colleges/universities (e.g., IELTS overall 6.0/6.5, no band less than 5.5/6.0 or equivalent in PTE). Guide students in preparing applications, SOPs, and supporting visa documents. Stay updated with

IRCC visa guidelines

and college admission requirements. Handle refusal cases and re-application strategies effectively. Coordinate with

GD Immigration (Canada)

for compliance checks and post-landing services. Maintain student records and ensure timely follow-up for smooth application processing. Participate in seminars, webinars, and promotional activities for student outreach.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or related field.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience

in Canada student counselling/immigration consultancy. Strong knowledge of the Canadian education system, visa procedures, and PGWP eligibility. Familiarity with

IELTS/PTE score requirements

for Canadian institutions. Excellent communication skills in English, Punjabi & Hindi. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and documentation skills. Sales/target-driven with a commitment to achieving higher visa success rates.
