Job Description

The Counsellor is responsible for providing emotional, psychological, and behavioral support to individuals or groups. The role involves assessing clients' needs, offering guidance, developing coping strategies, and helping clients manage personal, social, educational, or mental health challenges in a safe and confidential environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counselling sessions Assess clients' emotional, mental, and behavioral concerns Develop personalized treatment or support plans Maintain accurate and confidential client records Offer crisis intervention and emotional support when required Refer clients to psychologists, psychiatrists, or other professionals when necessary Conduct assessments, interviews, and follow-ups Educate clients on coping strategies, stress management, and personal development Collaborate with teachers, parents, healthcare professionals, or management as needed Adhere to ethical standards and organizational policies
