Responsibilities
Teach students the fundamentals and advanced concepts of videography.
Train students on camera operations, exposure control, framing, focus, composition, and camera movements.
Conduct practical sessions in indoor, outdoor, and studio-based videography.
Demonstrate professional use of DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, stabilizers, tripods, and other filmmaking equipment.
Provide hands-on training on gimbal setup, balancing, calibration, and cinematic movements (orbit, parallax, tracking, reveal shots, etc.).
Guide students on lighting setups, colour temperature, shot planning, and visual storytelling.
Explain production workflows, shot division, continuity, and technical planning for shoots.
Assist students during practice shoots and ensure they gain strong real-time shooting experience.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
Evaluate student performance and support them in building a strong portfolio.
Stay updated with the latest videography, gimbal, and camera technologies.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of professional videography and cinematography basics.
Proficiency in camera handling, lighting setups, and both handheld and stabilizer-based shooting techniques.
Experience in operating gimbals (DJI Ronin, Zhiyun, etc.) with expertise in balancing and executing cinematic movements.
Experience in event, fashion, wedding, commercial, and short-film videography.
Good communication and teaching skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
Familiarity with video editing software (Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve) is an added advantage.
Prior teaching/training experience preferred, or strong industry experience in videography.
