Role Overview

At Demos Project,

we are looking for an experienced and

skilled Videographer to travel with our political campaign team across Tamil Nadu.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in capturing high quality videos in dynamic, fast-paced environments and comfortable working closely with central communications and field teams.

Key Responsibilities

Capture

high quality video footage of campaign events, public meetings and interactions

Required

intermediate editing skills

Work closely with the content and communication teams to understand daily requirements and creative directions

Shoot interviews, short videos, bytes, and social media content

as needed. Experience in

drone shooting

is desirable Ensure

proper framing, lighting,

and

audio quality

during fast moving, on ground shoots Maintain and manage camera equipment, batteries, storage devices, and backups

Travel with the campaign team

across districts and adapt quickly to changing schedules. Coordinate with the central team to provide timely footage for campaign content Always uphold confidentiality and professionalism

Required Qualifications and Skills

3-5 years of experience

in videography or camera operations (news, documentary, event, or political content experience preferred)

Strong understanding of cinematography

, composition, and basic lighting/audio setups Ability to work in high pressure, fast paced campaign environments Good communication skill Willingness to travel extensively and work as per campaign requirement

Compensation

Competitive, based on experience and industry standards. Accommodation and other allowances will be provided.

Work Environment and Expectations

Willingness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu, often at short notice. Comfortable working late hours and weekends during peak campaign activity. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-intensity, and feedback-driven environment. Commitment to confidentiality, discipline, and political sensitivity in all tasks.
