Video Editor

is responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects. The role requires both technical proficiency and artistic creativity.

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage

into a cohesive, visually appealing final product.

Trim, rearrange, and synchronize

video and audio elements.

Incorporate graphics, titles, subtitles, and special effects

as required by the production.

Enhance video and audio quality

by adjusting color, sound, and lighting.

Collaborate with directors, producers, and other stakeholders

to understand requirements and vision for each project.

Review final products

for consistency, style, and brand guidelines.

Manage multiple projects

and meet deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with video editing software, such as

Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

.

Understanding of storytelling, composition, and pacing

.

Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects

is a plus.

Attention to detail
